Our Team

Mark Mehlhoff established Mark Mehlhoff Insurance, Inc. in July of 1997.  Ever since, he has continued to grow our insurance business through his dedication to helping others and providing high quality service through a wide variety of products.

Mark Mehlhoff

Mark is a life-long resident of South Dakota and grew up in Aberdeen.  Mark attended Central High School and went on to graduate from Northern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.  During his career, Mark has attained his LUTCF and LTCP designations and has been a member of the MDRT association several times in the past.

Mark is the proud father of four children.  His daughter, Meghan, joined him at his insurance agency in 2012, and together they have continued to expand our business.  His oldest son, Mason, joined our agency in 2024, following in Meghan’s footsteps to grow the business footprint in Aberdeen. His middle son, Kaden, is a 2023 Central High School and enjoys boating with the family.  His youngest son, Kyler, is a senior at Central High School and enjoys playing football and baseball.

Mark enjoys many recreational activities including boating, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and riding his Harley.  He is an active member with the Aberdeen Gun Club, Aberdeen Driftbusters, and his church community.

Meghan Sell

Meghan grew up in Aberdeen, SD and graduated from Northern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.  In September 2012, Meghan obtained her health and life insurance license to pursue her insurance career and continue building her father's business and in February 2017, she obtained her FHIAS designation. In her spare time , Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their fur kids.

MANDY BOE

Mandy grew up in Aberdeen, SD and graduated from Northern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.  She has worked in the banking industry since 2009 and in March of 2023, Mandy began her health insurance career with our office. Mandy and her husband live on a farm in the Claremont/Langford area and have one son. Mandy loves spending time with her family and enjoys her summers at the lake.

Lorne Serr

Lorne grew up in Eureka, SD and attended Dakota State University in Madison, SD. He then went on to graduate from Worsham College in Wheeling, IL. Following the sale of his business, Lorne went on to pursue new opportunities and began his insurance career in January 2016.  Lorne enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, golfing, hunting, fishing, and is a die-hard Packers fan.

MASON MEHLHOFF

Mason grew up in Aberdeen, SD and graduated from USD in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and immediately began his insurance career . He is an avid outdoorsman, as he enjoys spending time at the lake, where he loves to fish and jet ski. He loves to hunt in the fall and ice fish in the winter. When not outdoors, he prides himself in being a ping pong and billiards enthusiast. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings.
